Giving to Hillside Direct Donations The Hillside Student Community is a 501(3)(C) non-profit corporation so donations can be tax-deductible and corporate matching programs apply. Logo Items Hillside's fern logo, designed by Kathy Fruge-Brown, is now available on shirts, hats, tote bags, and more via www.cafepress.com/hillsidesc. Profits from the sales of our logo items benefit the school's financial aid fund. The site also includes merchandise with the Hillside Cavaliers logo as well as art from drama productions. Merchants Give Back The Hillside Student Community receives donations every time you use your Safeway card if you register it through the escrip program at http://www.escrip.com. There no cost to you. Plus, thousands of other merchants offer up to 5% of your purchase as a donation of your online sales. Just type "Hillside Student Community" into the registration box under "group name" when registering on the escrip site and the donations automatically come to the school. Web Search Donations Start at http://www.goodsearch.com when you want to search on the Web and you can direct a donation to The Hillside Student Community. The Yahoo-powered search engine also has merchant partners donating a percentage of the sales through their goodshop back to the school. Amazon, Ebay, Expedia and many other vendors offer donations ranging from 1-25% of your purchase. There is no cost to you.
