Development of the Creative Person

Hillside believes that the development of creative, compassionate individuals who use critical thinking skills as a means to understanding the world and themselves is the highest goal of the school.

Youth need a central set of ethical values to give them the strength to be unique.  Hillside integrates these values within an inspiring core curriculum that investigates the consequences of behavior on both an individual and societal scale.

Our school seeks to discern and develop our students’ gifts, and to foster the confidence and breadth of spirit necessary for them to share their gifts with the world.

We encourage students as they:

• Risk mistakes – since errors are stepping stones to creativity and learning
